| I barf at the 02 × Hiro pairing because it'a fucking stupid and its rabid fans are like cancer to the Anime community. However, this has to be the best episode so far. I think that blue veiny thing that was sucking Hiro's lifeforce in the previous episode is gone now. The action in this episode was fucking awesome. If we had MORE of THIS and less of Hiro being worse than Shinji Ikari then all would be good in the motherfucking neighborhood. I would say the worst part of this series is the romance, pairings/shippings and lamest dialogues about wanting to be each others' wings. This klaxosaur is my favorite for being so damn bulky. |

| I liked this episode. :) I thought it was weird that the stamens of Squad 26 were given dialogue, but the pistils of Squad 26 were (as far as I remember) complete nonentities. peh-soh-nah said: Another problem I have with the action, is how OP Strelizia is. I know that's the point when they overdo it that much, it makes all the other Franxx, including Squad 26, look so lame and boring to watch in comparison. It takes all of Squad 26 to take out one Klaxosaur while Strelizia was able to do that cool thing where they stacked them all on top of eachother and send a blast of electricity through them. I understand that Stelizia should be OP but its not fun to watch when every other Franxx is so comparably limited. I agree, Strelizia is a bit too OP. I can awaken it for you" And then she asked him to be her darling. The rest is piecing the puzzle pieces together. She puts an emphasis on kiss as something special, kisses him unlike other stamen. This plays into the OP called kiss of death where the lyrics and imagery imply that while it may seem as the kiss of death at first it's actually reviving something. So you have Zero Two explaining her intentions, the condition which is to be her darling and her stamen and the kiss to awaken whatever every one of these children has already in them to begin with. Then they went ahead and made again clear that Hiro experiences the exact opposite reaction compared to all the other stamen before him, his yellow blood cell counts increases rather than decreasing. He's not being drained, he's been given something. All that was left for Hiro to accept Zero Two and the Klaxosaur in her as well as him and his body started to accept it similar to symbiosis it seems rather than trying to fight it. And there you have the awakened potential just how Zero Two said. He has to see her as his other half, his other wing that will enable him to fly rather than a double edged wing that might eventually kill him or snap. I like this explanation! :) |

| Not sure how Hiro survived that other than "plot armor" but that sure was pretty intense, quite loved the development and the almost if not actually death periode of Hiro! The ending was great as well so looking forwards to see what's next! |

| The battles in this episode were awesome! But what I love the most in this episode is how Hiro turned the desperate situation he and Zero 2 is in by miraculously becoming healthy again through determination alone and calms Zero 2 down. He finally found his real motivation to why he fought hardly beside for serving Papa. It will be cool if Hiro's physical ability could be like Zero 2. He'll be more of a badass! According to the post-battle scenes, it seems like Hiro has gained the respect of his group and the others completely. It makes me happy knowing that he won't be treated like a wimp beside for trivial things at least. I can't stand things like Mitsuru's arrogant personality. |

| If I was a fan of mecha fights, I would probably have loved this episode. Not being a mecha fan, I still liked it. Hiro made it clear that he does not see Ichigo as a romantic option though, so 02 it is. |

| The Klaxosaur's design was absolutely amazing. Seems like the thing on his chest which is most likely related to Klaxosaurs, just like Zero Two's ... he managed to get rid of or at least stop it from killing him. Seeing as in episode 1 Zero Two told Hiro she could awaken his dormant power, it most likely means that is exactly what happened. |

| The fights are pretty epic in this show and the ost is very good (aside from the one playing when Zero Two and Hiro defeated the monster... It's not bad but it's just so generic and childish.) However it keeps taking the most predictable path, and doesn't do it in a very subtle way with its amount of dialogues related to loneliness and partnership. I mean, this path isn't a bad one, even if predictable, but here it is becoming a bit forced. I hope it'll change. Zero Two remains an interesting character for now but for her too, I feel like the message is so forced it is restraining some of her potential. Plus, her personality still isn't one I'm super fond of... Based on what I already saw, I was expecting her to be the oddball, but in a different way than just behaving like a disobedient teen. Even if this behaviour can be explained, it still prevents her from being as unique as the show clearly wants her to be. However what happened to her when Hiro passed out was pretty concerning... Was she turning into a beast or something like that ? It looks like the blood of Thingsaurus can sometimes mess with her, doesn't it ? |

| Poor Goro, his partner crushing on another guy, no way can they function properly when her heart is elsewhere. Plus Hiro takes from the bag of anime cliches and uses the power of wanting something really really really badly to power up. Good for him I guess. Though him tugging Zero Two back from losing herself was a good moment I will admit. I guess the episode tried to get some sympathy towards Zero Two after the bad look she got last time and succeeded somewhat. I'm willing to give her benefit of a doubt until things become more clear. I guess Hiro will get to fly and give someone else the ability to go with him. So old wish and new wish granted? I had a stray thought and my mind went to Koko from Jormungand and now I can't help but seeing her in Zero Two in their mannerisms. So one is an arms dealer and one defeats monsters in giant sex robots, they are quite similar imo. I wonder if the show is ever going to explain the setting? Is this a post-apocalyptic Earth? How did those things come to be? Stay tuned for the next episode I guess. |

| Damn the Action's returned! Hiro has proved himself that he is capable of being one of the best FranXX pilot and also suitable for ZeroTwo. This episode really hurts bcoz Ichigo loves him and she admitted that she is nothing but a sibling for him , forcing herself to do so. I really like their pair but ZeroTwo comes in the middle. I am thrilled to see what comes in the upcoming episodes. Also I really want Ichigo and Hiro to kiss once again properly. I ship them both. Btw that cliffhanger tho °_° |

| The last episode took it a little easier. Instead, there was a lot more action this time, which in my opinion was also well animated. Hiro somehow managed to hold back that blue rash and found himself almost in the afterlife before that though. Kind of a weird process, I don't know how to feel about it. We also ended up seeing three new characters, one of them was shown. By "Nine lota" he probably meant Zero Two, interesting...  |

| Another mission this time it's a lot harder than the last time, This is also the third time Hiro will be riding with Zero Two and that thing in Hiro's chest is growing yet more as time progresses that's not okay at all That last boss sure is hefty to kill even the other team is having a hard time, Although it's nice to see each individual of the team show off in this episode It gives them the personality that they have, What happened to Hiro it finally got to him Was that a burst of blood the veins completely disappeared from his neck and arms damn that was a nice finisher they did it props to the team. |
